The Plumber's Progress

The bad news was that we had to go back to the drawing board to figure out how to keep the house from falling down.

The good news was that our contractors were able to make progress on a number of fronts while we worked the architect and tried not to panic.

They framed the closets between the master bedroom and the master bathroom:













Once the framing was done, the rough plumbing went into the master bathroom:







They also performed surgery in the foyer to add a soil stack for the master bathroom:





Meanwhile, in the small bathroom, they did some framing, moved a radiator, and worked on reinforcing the deeply maligned bathroom floor.

Our contractor's new favorite thing to say about our house is, "Never, EVER give a plumber a saw."
