We did a great job of painting the walls in one weekend, but then...it took five months and 23 weekends to strip 14 layers of paint off the built-in cupboard, repaint all of the walls where I had splattered the resulting old paint goo, and to make and install shelves for some of our overflow kitchen treasures.
